Curated Scissors Glastonbury 2025

I had the honour of being Head Programmer at Scissors venue, a new addition to Glastonbury Festival. Scissors is a queer femme venue in The Park area, for the girls gays and theys, running from lunchtime with activities, cabaret, acoustic music, pool in our garden, real haircuts and daytime DJs, to a raucous late-night party til dawn in our Kiki’s club tent.

I and my brilliant assistant Beth worked for months putting together a programme of hundreds of artists, from DJs to live bands to immersive performance and drag, and we were absolutely thrilled with how it went.

Secret appearances from Bimini, Romy and Kate Nash were highlights, as well as platforming lots of community collectives like London Trans Pride, Queer House Party, Bumpah, Dykes on Decks and many more…
