Singing

Corinthians

Corinthians got together when Laura, Creative Director of Shotgun Carousel (catch up on the 'Festivals & Events' tab if you don't know who they are) asked my boyfriend Alex to put a psychedelic band together to serenade Shotgun's big top at Wilderness festival - capacity 600 so a fairly dramatic way to start!

Alex had lots of great songs up his sleeve and it went down really well, so we've kept it up, playing Sharper Sounds and Brainchild Festivals last summer, working on our sound over winter, and debuting some new tracks at LOST festival in 2017. In the live setup, Alex now has me on drums, sampler and percussion.

Our first EP, Crossed Horizons, came out in June 2016. You can find it on iTunes, Spotify etc. In October 2017 we recorded some new material in LA with our friends Cherry Glazerr.

"Offering up a blend of sun-drenched sixties songwriting sensibilities and bristling Pixies prog, CROSSED HORIZONS comprises four tracks of equally captivating immediacy. BLADES, the EP’s lead track, is a darkly epic meditation on the things that lurk just beneath the surface. Beginning with minds intertwined in a walk through the city, the listener swiftly discovers unsettling new worlds both under the water, and under the skin. So far, CORINTHIANS have shared stages with the likes of B RAKES and Martin Creed, and have played at Wilderness, Sharper Sounds, and Brainchild Festivals more to be announced. CORINTHIANS celebrated the launch of the EP with a special headline show at The Victoria in Dalston, London, on Thursday 16th June."
